Shannon I am a girl who has traveled the world and there is still so much to see! I have a bachelors degree from the School of Mines and Technology (yes, the same one that Andy attended) and a graduate degree from Argosy University in Health Services Management. Although Andy and I went to the same school together at almost the same time, we never met until 2015! To me, Andy is more than what I had prayed to Jesus for (after all, He is a good God) and the best thing since instant mashed potatoes. For me, loving Andy isn't a feeling... it's an action and a choice I am choosing everyday. And I can't wait!

Andy Although we went to college together and had many mutual friends, we didn't significantly cross paths while there. I got a degree in atmospheric science and entered the fire world. In May of 2015 we crossed paths again and went on our first date - meeting for coffee, or tea if you prefer, turned into dinner which turned into talking for many hours. Things were different from the beginning - we couldn't get enough time together to talk and had as many dates and adventures as we could fit in and covered all the topics we could think of. I am looking forward to all of our adventures to come as we experience life together.

The ceremony and reception will be held at the K Bar S Lodge at 434 Old Hill City Road in Keystone, SD.

The Lodge has a block of rooms for those traveling from out of town. Please call the lodge directly at 605-666-4545 or visit their website to reserve a room.

For those traveling by air, there are many flights available in and out of Rapid City. Numerous rental car services are also available at the Rapid City Regional Airport if needed.

The K Bar S Lodge is located just west of Keystone, SD and Highway 16A along Old Hill City Road about 25 minutes south of Rapid City.

There are many activities around the Black Hills in the fall. Mount Rushmore is just outside of Keystone; the 1880 train makes trips between Keystone and Hill City; Wind Cave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monument are a short drive away; Custer State Park is a short drive away; Keystone, Hill City, and Custer have many things to do in a day and are worth visiting. Rapid City has many more options for activities, stores, and restaurants.

Friends and family of Andy and Shannon,

We are so grateful and delighted that you want to participate in this celebration of....us! Traditionally, gifts of household items and other necessities for making a home are given to the bride and groom. After careful and prayerful consideration between Andy and myself (Shannon), we have agreed that the intention of gifts from loved ones are meant to improve and bless us.

We have all the household amenities and wants we should need. Therefore, Andy and I have set up an online fund collection that will go directly towards our future needs of a down payment on a house and honeymoon expenses. We recognize that this may break from traditions or expectations of others, but please don't think that this will be any less appreciated. Help us start a marriage off right - debt free and homeward bound!
